Appreciated by the British rare groove scene and later sampled by Digable Planets and Jay-Z, 24-Carat Black had no chance of reaching his second album bins. Thanks to the tremendous work of the always excellent Chicago label Numero Group, here at last after Ghetto Misfortune's Wealth released by Stax in 73.
